In de donkere nacht
tussen de wolken en turbulentie
zie ik jou gezicht
naast het mijne
 
voel jouw voortdurende aanwezigheid
jouw hand in de mijne
volgen wij samen
dit intense liefdespad
 
met pieken en met dalen
met tranen en een lach
bang om vooruit te kijken
naar obstakels die er kunnen zijn
 
niet meer in staat terug te gaan
want daarvoor zijn we te ver
gegaan en gekomen
blijven we hier stilstaan maar laten elkaar niet los
